Nothing says “I threw this together in 12 hours without sleep” quite like burnt out lightbulbs. Seriously, have you ever walked into someone’s bathroom (or even a 
restaurant bathroom) and seen 2/5 bulbs burnt out over the vanity? Or maybe the entryway is 80% dimmer than the rest of the house because only one little bulb was lighting the whole area (as was the case in my entryway)? It might make you think, “Wow, would it have been all that hard just to switch out that bulb?”
I know it seems like a no brainer, but if you have light fixtures that require more than one lightbulb, it’s really easy to let them go when they burn out. So, before you delve into the deep holiday cleaning and decorating, start early with the basics. Just evaluate your lightbulb situation now, and make sure to put new bulbs on your next shopping list.
